Cultural Leonesa has reached an agreement with Javier Fernández 'Bicho' to renew his contract for two more seasons. The Galician player arrived in León in the summer of 2023. Three seasons later, he has become one of the most important players in the team and most beloved by the Cultural Leonesa fans. He was one of the key players in the team's promotion to LaLiga Hypermotion in the 2024/25 season and this year has again demonstrated his ability in the second division of Spanish football.
