Cultural Leonesa will participate in LaLiga Retro Day, a unique initiative that combines football and fashion. The club will wear retro-inspired jerseys. LaLiga Retro Day is a new experience that brings together 38 clubs from LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION to wear new jerseys inspired by iconic editions of their past. The initiative is a tangible expression of “a very alive legacy”, turning the history of the clubs into an experience that is exciting, celebrated, and also worn on the field. The historical jerseys, reinterpreted for the current competition, act as a bridge between generations, connecting the origins of the fans with the way football is lived today. One initiative that combines football and fashion on the field, placing LALIGA as the only one of the five major European leagues to promote a joint action of this kind. During the 31st round of LALIGA EA SPORTS and the 35th round of LALIGA HYPERMOTION, 38 clubs from LALIGA will join this initiative, wearing new retro-inspired jerseys based on historical models of their trajectory. The collection that will never go out of style LaLiga Retro Day gives shape to “the collection that will never go out of style”, a proposal that turns the history of the clubs into a contemporary trend. The participating jerseys will be presented on Thursday, March 19, at the MBFWMadrid, bringing the legacy of Spanish football to one of the main international showcases of the creative industry. A natural union between football and fashion that transcends the field and places the identity of the clubs at the center of the cultural and creative conversation. Jaime Blanco, Director of the Office of Clubs of LALIGA, has highlighted that “LaLiga Retro is a unique opportunity to pay homage to the history of our clubs and the symbols that have marked generations of fans. It is a way to bring the past to the present and continue building experiences and forging the legacy that emotionally connects with the fans. That this collection is presented at the Spanish Fashion Week is the perfect showcase to project that identity beyond the field and place football at the center of the cultural and creative conversation.” A 360-degree experience beyond the field LaLiga Retro Day will extend beyond the jerseys and the development of the matches, configuring itself as a transversal initiative that will involve clubs, talents, legends, sponsors, and other actors in the LALIGA ecosystem. Among them, the LEGENDS collection, The Home of Football, a unique space that already collects the history of world football and will be the main protagonist of this project in the coming months. The audiovisual experience will incorporate retro-style graphics, with a specific visual identity that will transfer this narrative to the television and digital environment, while various physical and digital activations will amplify the reach of the day, before and after it. Additionally, in the coming weeks, the designs of the jerseys that the participating clubs will wear will be revealed. A global staging that reinforces the coherence of the action and turns LaLiga Retro Day into a shared celebration.
