Cultural Leonesa has been crowned champion of the 24th edition of the Ciudad de León International Youth Tournament after defeating Getafe CF in an exciting final decided by penalties. The match, held at the CHF fields in León, ended goalless during regulation time, leading both teams to a penalty shootout. Cultural Leonesa managed to overcome Getafe in a series that extended to the thirteenth kick, achieving an important victory. This tournament, which brought together renowned teams, has established itself as one of the most significant events in grassroots football in the region. Organized by León Club de Fútbol and the León City Council, the competition featured four teams: Cultural Leonesa, León Club, Getafe CF, and Rio Ave Futebol Clube from Portugal.
